The handover ceremony for the OASIS prototype park took place at the end of last week. Agricultural experts interested in the technology were greeted by lush greenery in the shade of the solar panels. The concept was received with enthusiasm by those in attendance, as the challenges facing the agricultural sector this year and in recent years—such as drought—place an extraordinary burden on farmers. At the accompanying conference, Dean Dr. Tamás Nagy, Managing Director Balázs Lőrincz, Associate Dean Dr. Balázs Ásványi, and László Moldvai AI expert gave presentations on related technologies and the latest developments at the Mosonmagyaróvár campus. We discussed the advanced CAD, CAE and FEM methods, which were used during the virtual development. This was followed by a tour of the prototype, a demonstration of the park’s features, and its official handover.
At the end of the day, Balázs Lőrincz, co-owner of OASIS and CEO of Virtualitica, discussed the technology’s potential with Minister of Agriculture Szabolcs Bóna. Based on this brief but substantive talk, the Minister sees potential for the widespread adoption of the solution and indicated that he will continue to monitor our related developments in the future
